The CVA-D Large Area Water-Wash Paint Booth is suitable for the extraction and capture of pigments and fumes emitted from paint spray made with synthetic solvents, organic compounds, and other volatile or hazardous materials.
The airborne pigments are captured by a constant-flow veil of water located on the back wall of the workspace, and by a nebulizer spray located behind the lower veil panels. The fumes are vented out of the booth by an anti-spark electrical fan. The captured spray is separated from the water through plastic filter trays, and air filtration is accomplished with “Paint- Stop” filter drawers above the water veil.
An optional return air curtain is available to provide additional containment of spray and vapors within the booth.*
All CVA-D Series paint booths are constructed of press-bent galvanized steel modular panels, which can be added to the base filtration bank to create the ideal size of enclosures best suited to your needs. The dual-segment veils are made of galvanized pre-painted sheet metal; stainless steel veil panels are available as an option. The lower veil panels open with gas lift supports for maintenance and removal of the water pump filters.
